This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of grokimage2.app (“we” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you visit the website or use our image generation and editing service (the “Service”).

The Service provides web access to currently documented Grok Imagine models for text-to-image generation and image editing. Underlying inference may be performed by xAI or other providers we contract with. Model trademarks and names belong to their respective owners. This independent site is not affiliated with xAI and does not claim access to the Imagine Image 2.0 developer API while xAI lists that API as coming soon.

You can try basic generation without creating an account. When you use the Service without an account, we aim to collect only what is needed to run generation, prevent abuse, operate the site, and improve reliability.

2. Data We Collect

When you use the Service without an account, we may collect:

• Prompts and generation settings — text prompts, negative prompts, model selection, size/aspect ratio, quality settings, language or layout instructions, and similar parameters you submit.
• Uploaded or referenced images — images you upload for image-to-image or editing workflows, and temporary processing copies needed to complete a request.
• Generated outputs and metadata — generated or edited images, previews, task IDs, credit cost, status, timestamps, and related generation logs.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device and OS information, request logs, approximate location derived from IP where applicable, and usage events used for security, rate limiting, abuse prevention, analytics, and service improvement.
• Cookies and similar technologies — essential cookies or local storage for session, locale, preferences, security, and basic analytics.

If you create an account, we may additionally collect:

• Email address, display name, and profile information you provide.
• Authentication data, such as hashed passwords or OAuth account identifiers (for example Google or GitHub).
• Saved generations, image library items, preferences, credit balance and ledger entries, orders, subscriptions, and account activity.
• Payment and billing records processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Optional reward activity related to daily check-in or sharing bonuses, when you use those features.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
• Process image generation and editing requests, including sending prompts and images to AI providers as needed to return results.
• Manage credits, subscriptions, downloads, watermarks, queue priority, and account features.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, spam, scraping, security incidents, and technical failures.
• Communicate about account activity, billing, support, service changes, and policy updates.
• Analyze aggregated or anonymized usage trends to improve reliability, product quality, and user experience.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only as needed to operate the Service, including:

• AI and infrastructure providers — hosting, storage (for example object storage / CDN), logging, email, authentication, analytics, and AI inference providers that process prompts, images, and outputs to fulfill your requests.
• Payment processors — to complete purchases, subscriptions, refunds, fraud checks, and billing.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and property.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Providers are expected to process data only as needed to deliver their services to us and to apply appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

For users without accounts:

• Temporary processing copies of uploaded or fetched assets are deleted after processing when no longer needed (often within about 24 hours).
• Guest-generated images may be stored temporarily for delivery and then removed on a short retention schedule (for example within about 7 days), unless a longer period is required for security or abuse investigation.
• Prompts and usage events may be anonymized or aggregated and retained for security, quality, and product improvement.

For account users:

• Account profile data is retained until you delete the account or request deletion, subject to legal, security, billing, and fraud-prevention needs.
• Saved images, preferences, and credit history are retained until you delete them, delete your account, or request removal, subject to the same exceptions.
• Billing, tax, and compliance records may be retained as required by applicable law.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the prompts, uploaded images, and other materials you provide (“User Content”), to the extent you own them.

By submitting User Content, you authorize us to transmit, cache, process, store, and display it as needed to provide the Service to you, operate and secure the product, enforce policies, and improve reliability.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to upload or reference any image or text, and that your inputs do not violate law or third-party rights.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies so the website and account features work. We may also use analytics technologies to understand how the Service is used and to improve performance. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and security reviews. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
